Website analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand visits and improve the website. It records aggregate usage information such as page addresses, referring sites, visit times, approximate location, browser, operating system and device type. Vercel uses a request-derived visitor hash that expires after 24 hours; it does not use analytics cookies or track you across websites.

We remove query strings and fragments from page addresses before sending analytics. We send page views only, without custom events, prompt text, attachments or form values. Analytics runs on the landing page, this statement and the demo interface, not inside the sandboxed visualization frames.

Your browser’s Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control preference disables analytics here when enabled. This check happens silently. You can also block the analytics script using browser extensions. Read Vercel’s analytics privacy information for more details.

Prepared demos and browser storage

The public demos run in your browser without an AI backend. Text you type and files you select in a demo are not submitted to an AI provider. The demo can save unsent text drafts, the selected example and interface preferences in this browser’s local storage. You can remove them by clearing this site’s browser data.

Hosting and external links

Vercel hosts this website and processes request information, including IP addresses, to deliver and secure it. Hosting records are separate from the aggregate analytics described above. See Vercel’s privacy policy. Following links to GitHub, Node.js or other services brings you under those services’ privacy policies.

The downloaded local app

The separate local app saves projects on your computer. When you request an AI generation, your installed Codex CLI sends prompts, relevant source and attachments through your configured provider. Its account settings and privacy policies apply. This website’s analytics tracker is not included in the local app.
